ENOUGH
Theres a poor little girl just sitting there,
Looking out the window with an empty stare,
Holding on tight to her little teady bear,
Knowing life cant always be fair,
Her room is lit up only by the moon light,
The only thing you can see is a dresser about her hight,
The conditions she lives in is quite a sight,
But she lives in them with such delight,
The winter nights are too cold and the summers too hot,
The happiness she has i never would have thought,
Could come to a young girl who didnt have alot,
But she lives in a happiness that the world forgot,
Her mamas sitting down the hall
In a rocking chair rapped in a shawl,
A tear streams right down her face as she watches her family fall,
And she doesnt know whats going to happen to them all,
All the tears streaming down her face,
She doesnt know how much longer they can afford the place,
She prays to God everynight that he would show his grace,
They are going after a dream that they can no longer chace,
The winter nights are too cold and the summers too hot,
The faith she has I never would have thought,
Could come to a young girl who didnt have alot,
But she lives in a happyness that the world forgot,
Her husbands in the next room not knowing what to do,
When hes lost his job and their money is few,
Where the family is going he hasnt got a clue,
Hes ready to get out of his old life and start a new,
Throughout his whole house the light have gone dim,
He finds his wife and child looking up to him,
When money is tight and and their chances slim,
He keeps a smile on his face so he doesnt look so grim,
The winter nights are too cold and the summers to hot,
The hope he has i never would have thought,
Could come to a young man who didnt have alot,
But he lives in a happyness that the world forgot,
They are living through problems both old and new,
And they count on each other to make it through,
The future ahead of them they havent got a clue,
But the love of their family only grew,
Their winter nights are too cold and the summers too hot,
The love of their family i never would have thought,
Could come to a young family who didnt have alot,
But they all live in a happiness that the world has forgot.
