The times I need to speak up
The words so perfect in my head
Rehearsing the lines as to memorize
Until the words sound unsure.
I've given up again
The chance to speak my mind
Every opportuninty slipping away.
Everyone defends something
Because everyone has opinions
Some people just don't show it.
I may not be honest with my feelings
But they show on the inside.
