better in memory

It was my favorite place as a child
Running and laughing with friends
Swinging on the swings
Racing down the slides
Climbing where we weren’t supposed to so we could get away in a game of tag
But now that I return
The fun is no longer there for me
I see kids running and laughing like I once did
But for me, I sit in boredom
Waiting to go home
