Once a lively place where everyone got along,

Laughter and screams fill the air.

New friendships formed, like strings tied tight.

The static that hit your hand going down the slide.

The sunlight always hitting the surface of children's excitement,

Begging for ten more minutes of play.

Wishing everyday it can be this sunny and bright.

Running and exploring, never wanting to stop.

Rocks finding their way into our shoes.

Hurting the bottom of our feet.

Never wanting to grow up.

Time flying by so fast,

at some point it must come to an end.

It's been years since then.

We have all moved on with our lives.

The playground, once a place of friends, excitement and fun.

Is now a place that holds memories of our youthful adventures.

These memories are treasured in our hearts, 

reminders of the beautiful moments we shared.

As we grow up, making more beautiful memories.
