Better in Memory
School was such a fun and bright place.
Eating lunch with all of your friends and playing on the playground.
Playing tag and playing kickball.
Saying hello to all of your favorite teachers everyday,
And getting a good morning greeting from the principal you looked forward to everyday.
Now when I think of school, I don’t want to go anymore.
Theres no more recess,
And no more fun lunches.
Theres work, and work, and work.
Every morning the principal says hello to you,
but you don’t notice it because your day feels like an everyday cycle.
School isn’t fun, just tiring.
And school isn’t what it seems.
