Life is but a song.

Like all other living beings, I danced to it in the way I pleased.

I'd sway, twirl, and all else I wished to do in my own dance.

I knew that this song was not everlasting.

The beat drops to the song sometimes, all becoming steady.

When people least expected it, times moved so rapidly that one cannot catch thoughts.

Sometimes the song slows down and tears fall against skin.

All becomes silent, the only noise that can be heard is from the being that danced to this song.

Some people stop their dance, their heart no longer being another instrument to this song.

Some people continue their dance, gliding around despite the emotions the song may bring.

The joy you felt swaying to your song dissipates.

You aren't sad, or at least I wasn't.

If you are like me, you'll smile and stand there.

You'll think of how the unpredictability of the song was what brought the appeal.

You'll think of how tranquil some moments were, even if some were not.

You'll walk out of that room in acceptation that you'll never hear the same song again.

You'll hope soon that you'll have a new body to dance to a new song.

No one truly lives the same way as another person. People are interesting because they are so different from each other in their life. Some people's lives are shorter, some lives are longer. Some live in one mindset while others live in another. Life is something that we know both much and little about. Though in the end of it all, how much will we wish for another?
