The Seasons Hold Me
The seasons hold my grief.
A radiant golden leaf detaches from its companion, abandoning the brittle branch who craves devotion.
Snow flurries carry memories, bitterly melting into amnesia.
Lilies blossom into their beautiful past selves, relearning how to thrive in the sun.
Long, sunny days relieve the past- bestowing freedom as the new cycle begins.
The seasons represent my journey.
