Woman with a dozen black roses
She sits on the park bench
 In her red dress
 Thinking about the good times
 Woundering what happened

 She walks through the park
 In her red high heels
 Smelling the rose bushes
 Singing a little tune

She stops in front of a store
 She looks at the flowers
 Sitting in the window
 The beautiful red roses

 She walks into the store
"I would like some roses" she says
The clerk gives her red roses
"I would like black roses" she says

"We don't have black" he says
 She sighs and walks out
 She walks in the park
 She sees the red roses

She sees a man in red
He sees her walking to him
He hands her a dozen roses
"I don't like black" he said

 She takes the dozen roses
Smiles at him and walks away
Four days later on the news
She hears the man that gave her the roses...

 Later died
