Poem to Ummi

First I wanna thank you because you bought me on this earth

For what it's worth I fell in love with you the day of my birth

I know I hurt you when you caught me trapping 

When you found out I was bout that action

Ummi I really love you, You the reason why I wanna be on my deen

Wanna give you everything, so I chase my Dream

I’ll be inna DOCs before I let someone disrespect you

You was the Mother and the Father, for the struggle I give respect

I was spoiled rotten trying to do my best 

I can’t name not one thing you ain’t do

I love you I just want you to know I’d do it all for you

If this world was mine, Ummi I give it all to you
