When I first understood
Kisses drank spits
But it was a magical thing
That people loved it so much.
Kisses drank spits
And seemed to drink the other's love—
That people loved it so much.
Like Romeo and Juliet, they kissed till death
And seemed to drink the other's love—
To share it or to consume it.
I don't think I understand or can say
When I first understood
Because I still think and thought
It was a gross thing.
