An Ocean's Heart
I’m a deep-blue mystery.
Always being questioned about what is within me,
I can hear their constant cries for answers.
They gather along the shores and look beyond for something more.
They seem to be out of my reach,
Yet they are always here or somewhere near.
I cry when they leave me in a mess.
I understand now, they don't know of my importance.
I am a deep-blue mystery,
One they have yet to understand.
