Shadows
Looking into the screaming night,
the full moon left ways for me to see my steps.
Sitting on the far side of the boathouse,
I felt eyes gleaming towards me.
Worried sick, as I knew that something wasn’t right,
scared for what could happen to me
The lights in the boathouse flickered on,
as a shadow emerged in the dark.
The door clicked open,
a hand was lifted into the air waving at me.
A voice echoed through the air asks,
“Are you alright?”, and a sigh of relief exhales from my body.
