Silent Night
As night falls upon the quiet harbor,
the lonely moon slowly rises into the sky,
Soft light illuminating the water with a glow,
Casting gentle light on the boats sitting so patiently,
High above,
It shines alone,
A solitary beacon,
Watching silently as life carries on,
Never late,
Giving us light in the dark
But though the moon may seem so far away,
It remains a constant presence in our lives,
A reminder of the beauty that surrounds us,
And the infinite mysteries of the universe.
What a celestial wonder,
The glowing orb which gives us light at night,
Cherish the moments we have,
When it's reflecting off our eyes.
