Life is a river, don’t just float
Paddle hard, and stay afloat.
Plant your seeds, and let them grow,
Watch them bloom, and let them show
Be bold, be brave, take the lead,
Don’t just follow, plant your seed
The world is your canvas, go paint your
Art,
Be the one, and let your soul depart.
Don’t be a passenger, be the driver,
Take control, and be a survivor.
Life is a journey, don’t just sit and stare,
Take the wheel and go anywhere.

I am a 12 grade student at Decatur Highschool, I wrote this poem because I wanna inspire the others around me that are going through any regrets, self doubts, negativity energy around them. Inspire them to take the stand, lead their way through the challenge and overcome anything in their way.
