Ode to the sunset
Oh sunset, the way you make me smile after a rough day, and the way I see through your colors. You make me happy when I'm say. You're the inspiration behind my ideas. Oh sunset, the ombre of your colors with the stars shining through, you'r cloudy skies with the stormy nights. Brighter than the sun when you shimmer through the afternoon. Without you, my life is empty; darker than the days of depression or the depth of a black hole. Without you, sunset, there's no light at the end of my tunnel. If you weren't here I wouldn't look forward to the next day. I even love you more than the horses. You are something I can count on every day. Do you think about the way you impact people. Oh sunset, I love you more than you know!

This was our lessons from the Nebraska state poet. He had us write an ode, and I fell in love with this piece.
