It's about 50 degrees outside
the grass was multicolored;
Green, brown, yellow
As a little 6 yr old I was excited about something different.
Something about sleeping at a hotel was fun and exciting.
Waiting for my mom to get back with the ice.
Ice, ice, ice
Waiting, anticipating, on the edge of my seat.
As I hear a knock on the door
I jump
What if it’s stranger that’s lost
Accidently knocking on the wrong door
What if it's teenagers ding dong ditching
What if its a sex trafficker
What if, what if, what if
