Lifeboats
Lifeboats, strife-boats, bobbing in the sea
Grabbing them are hands of people destined born to be
Soundless, boundless, lying in their graves
Food to worms and fungus crunching, munching on their brains
Bones break, stones break, across the hazy years
Swirling in our minds are misty waterfalls of fear
But dying, flying, are never ones for me
Maybe in a thousand years I will become a tree
