No Color Compares
No Color Compares
I am yellow,
Warm and sunny and filled with joy.
I am the feeling you get after a long summer day.
I am the heat you feel on your skin.
I am not brown,
The color of the dirt beneath the grass.
I will never be brown,
Like the mud, you track inside your home.
You are blue,
The wonderful sky above me.
You are the feeling of comfort after a long embrace.
You are the perfect color.
You will never be white.
You will never fade
You will always be blue,
My favorite color.
