Ode To Monsters | pt.1
To what keeps me up at night
To what leaves me stressed of the mistakes I created
To what takes away my freedom at night
You have stolen my only happiness
To being titled the worst mental thing
a thing, humans cannot change
To what can change a dream into hell
To what can end a person's hope
You and I are the same
To hurting one’s designed life
To ruining a vision of harmony
To be hated by everyone you tried helping
You are a psychiatrist biggest enemy
You are like a night terror friend
You are like a paralysis that controls sleep
You are like a feeling that drags one down
You’re an outcast
You betray others and yourself
You hurt kids, you hurt yourself
You aren’t perfect, just yourself
You aren’t kind, nice and sweet
You are hidden
A mask
A liar that deceives everything
A creature that doesn’t understand itself
A demon,
A devil
A curse
You are in all of us, you are me.

We tell children that monsters lies under out bed yet we don't tell them the rest, we don't tell them that the monsters are in all of us, just a spark waiting to be sparked.
