the sun
the moon
the sky
All the buzzing energy
the slowly starts to subside
As darkness falls
The stars call
in hopes you would say a goodnight

Often, when bored or unable to fall asleep, I write poems. They pertain to night often, because it just is such a deep and rich subject and environment for everything. This is one of those late-night writings, and I do hope you enjoyed it :)
