To The War Child
You'd be the child in the middle
of an adult and their spouse
You wouldn't even know
the Silent War was in you're house
The thing is with a silent war,
is not that it is quiet
It's just that it is not acknowledged
by those that live beside it
No, you wouldn't realise
that Parents were fighting
I mean, how would you know?
You wouldn't even sight the thing!
Now, now, child, no need to fret
For compromise is coming yet
In fact, before dinner
(Since War's now to a simmer)
Bygones will be bygones, before the table's set.

I hope you enjoy this, know that this does not apply to those with family troubles (like me).
I really hope this doesn't offend anyone.
