The Sea, Beach, & I
I sit in my chair on the beach with the wind blowing around me,
I look in front of me and watch the water come in and out of the shore,
There isn’t anything out at sea, everything is free.
There isn’t anyone around me, I get to be carefree
There aren’t any shells around me, just white sand on the floor,
I sit in my chair on the beach with the wind blowing around me.
I want to pick fruit, maybe a peach tree?
Maybe I should buy some fake shells from the store?
There isn’t anything out at sea, everything is free.
I should cool myself off, maybe with a leaf from the palm tree?
I decided that I was going to go out tonight and make a smore!
I sit in my chair on the beach with the wind blowing around me.
The sun begins to set at the hour of three,
And the I remember, yesterday made me sore,
I sit in my chair on the beach with the wind blowing around me.
There isn’t anything out at sea, everything is free.

This is a Villanelle Poem and I decided to write about the beach since I love going to the beach during the summer.
