Nana
From my very first steps,
I would always walk straight to my Nana,
She was a blessing in disguise,
And I truly noticed this on the day that she died.
Sitting on a couch,
My brother, nana, and I,
Smiling so brightly,
Not realizing one day the person in the middle of us will not be alive.
I would always help pick out her outfits,
And the cloudy blue shirt was a favorite of mine,
And she would help do my hair,
Making it curly and divine.
Her touch was so kind,
Her heart was so pure,
I loved her with my whole heart,
And I do not know what I would have done without her.
