The Anger Before the Storm
A ringing rattles around the room
The aftermath of a rumbling that removed me from my rouse
Race downstairs to my progeny to cherish her after the ravenous storm
To retaliate the storm, I wish no more…
But to rekindle the relation between she and I is the most important thing in my eyes
A rapid fluttering in my chest and a never-ending ringing in my head
Everything stops right away as I remark the figure staring wide eyed at me through the dark
And an embrace as I relish the feeling of once again having her in my arms
With the realization it could have been the last before we had to part
A fight before bed no more
It does more wrong than right before a storm
Does Money Buy Happiness?
It’s said again and again that money
Will get you nothing more than selfish greed
But what’s important is my family
If security is where money leads
Then who’s to say money does not buy the
Happiness people say it does not bring
Money doesn’t buy happiness is a
Saying heard many times before, a thing
That despite the materialistic
Things it buys prove to be important no
Matter what’s said, It’s unrealistic
To say happiness it doesn’t bring so
it is therefore why I will then believe
To think happiness it doesn’t bring’s naive
The Woodland
The dwarf plants surround
The leafy, fragrant shady
Gangling trees that lurk
