Better In Memory: Christmas Magic
It was such a magical time
Joy filled my soul,
Knowing Santa would be coming soon.
He would deliver all of my favorite things,
That real elves would hand make.
He would snack on the cookies I made just for him.
It was a magical time,
And that magic filled the air around me.
Until Magic no longer filled the air.
I no longer wrote letters to santa
I no longer left cookies out for him,
And I no longer believed.
I found out my mom is the one who puts those presents under the tree.
Christmas will never be the same,
All the magic is gone.

Hi my name is Chloe, and I wrote the poem Christmas Magic. I have grown up loving Christmas and as a child was always a huge believer in Christmas magic. When I found out all of it was not real I was devastated. I wrote this poem in hope that others could relate to the feeling of finding out Christmas magic is not real.
