Open Thoughts
I feel myself fly up above again, above all of the birds and clouds and planes: I don't know how I got out of that den, and how I got rid of those chains;it feels as if I was there forever, but now, guess what, I’m high up in the sky, and it feels oh so wondrous, however, I’m actually afraid that I might die - cause if there’s no one at the bottom, the one, who’s there and ready to catch me, then there is no need for me to blossom when fate wants me to plunge into the sea, but still, here are my open thoughts of you: the way you walk, the way you talk, your smile, your laughter, your eyes and your hair - in the beginning, though, you weren’t a shock (it took a while for me to even dare to think about you here and there), the thing about you that really caught my eye was your outstanding personality: you’re a respectful, mature, fun type of guy, it’s like you’ve switched places with gravity; believe me, I’ve fallen before and I have been broken before, that’s why I am so frightened to tell you, but now you know, I’m done, and I am through: what about you ?

This was originally a confession poem based off of a sonnet that I wrote this fall. With a little bit of editing I am happy to have made this one sentence for the "One Sentence Love Story" contest!
