The Crash

Can’t control the steering wheel. The callous tree snarls as they collide.
Over. Is her life over? Oceans of grief - days and weeks of dark waters devour her.
Mere men didn't have the power to save her. She sinks far below the surface as the bottom looms dangerously close.
Angels - they encircle and lift her out of the murky waters into the sunlight and she breathes again- she lives and one day will become my Mama.
