Running, Running
He was running, running as hard as he could.
Sprinting away from the place he had known for the past year.
He was running, running from the internment camp in Japan.
He had no reason to run except to get as much distance between him and this place.
As he was running, running past the people he had got to know while they were there, he thought the war may be almost over, and life can go back to the way it was.
This was the thought that kept him running, running toward the future, and away from the past.
