Red Lotus
Red Lotus
A pond with opaque water
Houses an enormous lotus
Coloured blood red
Like a curse
From the underwater's dead.
It blooms there magnificently
Like a ruby in the mud
Attracts poets and passengers
That marvel the water colored blood
Stop to see the carcass, horse's.
I love this flower
Love how it blooms innocently
Love its red veins
Love how it stands there simply, sinfully
While it breakthroughs beauty chains.
Oh red Lotus, tell me
Those people buried at your feet
How can't they not result
In your graceful defeat?
[To righteousness, your beauty is an insult]
"sinful beauty"
