There's something new everyday
There is something new everyday
It could be amount of frost or dew there is on the grass in the morning
Or its just the amount of time it takes to warm up your car
No matter what it is its worth your time and effort
The world consistently changes around us and we have no control
But might as well enjoy and examine it
While our days and nights are still full
There is something new everyday
And there are times where I just sit there and wonder
What I can do to control it
But there's no controlling lightning and thunder
I sit on my porch staring out at the night sky
Thinking about what will be new tomorrow
But it could be anything and it could be disguised
There is something new everyday
Most of the time it's a surprise.

When I wrote this poem I was digging very deep inside my head and just sitting and wondering so it just fit.
