Butterfly Lady.
A genuine, shining little girl
Fluttering away into the world.
The fragile sound of her wings,
Proof of summer that she brings.
Flowers her home with spots, blue,
Her paper soft wings lost their hue.
Whilst she loses that warming smile,
The taste she left there, oh so vile.
The smell of leaves beginning to decay,
She knows she cannot forever stay.
Feel her gentle kiss against my skin,
But knows that it has never been.
