Icy glass of lemonade.
As your dewy condensation drips.
The crisp cubes of ice,
gently crackling.
Mouth watering.
I long for your cool,
Chilling,
Sweet and satisfying,
Thirst quenching,
Heat fighting,
Tastefulness.
Dear Lemonade
You are a nice relief
for a sweaty hot day.
25 cents a glass.
An easy snag on the curbside.
I gulp you down and you chill my throat
Shielding me from the sun
An essential craving
