Christmas
Christmas
Across a white December night,
each home has a glow.
The stars are twinkling way up high,
the mist of the snow starts to slowly fall.
The nights are dark and cold-
you can hear the ice sickles dripping.
You’re wrapped up in fuzzy blankets,
like a bear in hibernation.
The morning wakes you with cold, crisp, air-
you can smell the fresh pie baking in the oven and breakfast on the table.
The stockings are stuffed, and the several presents lie clustered under the tree,
everyone’s faces light up with joy.
Looks like Santa made it through the cold night,
the ground is filled with fluffy, sparkly, snow.
You dress up and run outside to jump into the snow,
it’s so light it feels like jumping into your bed.
The nights are cold, darker than ever,
you sit by the fire inside-
it’s so warm and cozy,
sipping on your hot chocolate.
Christmas is the best time of year
Less stress, more fun.
Friends and family gather,
You all laugh and cheer.
