A Letter To God
I hate you and you are nothing.
You have failed as a father, as a savior, as a mentor, and as an individual.
You are merely an individual, you are no “god” nor superior being.
You are a man.
A man who watches.
A creep.
You watch as your “children” kill one another, you watch addiction ruin families, you watch sex trafficking, you watch newborns be taken away from their mothers, you watch people slowly lose themselves until suicide is seemingly the only option, and you watch it attentively.
You see it all and you watch.
You are all powerful, you have the ability to mend all that is broken yet you choose to watch.
You watch people experience a pain you have never and will never endure.
We are stronger than you will ever be, we are more righteous than you will ever be.
We have served you only to receive an eternal life in which we will continue serving you.
I cannot imagine eternal life with a man like you.
I would rather be damned.

I fear God, growing up I was always taught to love him but as I continue to mature all I feel is a burning rage and resentment. I often find myself cursing him for the world that he has forced us all to exist in.
