An old tree
A man walks alone, among the cold tall grass.
He looks around him, with not a person in sight.
He wanders aimlessly, until he sees a tree not far from him.
He walks towards the tree that towers far above him and the grass.
Once he reaches the tree, he feels a sort of comfort.
He feels a warmth coming from it.
It’s as if the tree is calling him, to rest and close his eyes.
He sits under it, the soil is soft and the bark is warm.
As he starts to fall asleep he looks up at the tree and thanks it.
For his journey is over, and he can finally rest.
