The boy
I am the boy.
the boy who is mad.
the boy who is sad.
the boy who has fears.
the boy who just.
wants to disappear.
Yes I am the boy.
The boy who lets out tears.
The boy who has trauma.
The boy who has drama.
I am the boy.
Who just wants his momma.
I am The boy.
The boy who is stressed.
From being sent away.
Apart from the rest.
Yes I am the boy.
The boy who’s depressed.
I am the boy.
The boy who is a mess.
I am the boy.
The boy who’s upset.
I am the boy.
The boy who wants to rest.
Yes I am the boy.
The boy who wants his momma.
Yes I am the boy who wants to give her no drama.
Yes I am the boy who gave her all this trauma.
I am the boy who wants to apologize to his momma.

As a child in foster care I had so much trauma in my life and you name it I’ve gone through it I’m now 17 looking at a couple of years in juvie. I wrote this poem down in juvie. I didn’t get to go home on my court date in April, so I came back to my cell and started crying and I wrote all my feelings out. I got to go home on house arrest and now I’m sending this out. I suffer from depression anxiety trauma and ptsd. But this poem isn’t just for me I wrote as an apology to my step mom who took me in at the age of 7 and she was the best mom I’ve ever had and always will be growing up i gave her so much trouble in life and so many troubled arguments and situations. So yeah I wrote this poem down and I wrote plenty more so thank you and if your suffering from the same thing as me just know you can fight it I love you guys.
