Fractured and Perfect
You've been given a gift
 One that's ripped and marred
Try to see it's unexplainable beauty
 Are there too many scars?

 It's encompassed by old memories
 Captivated by another's smile
 Not your's alone
And it's been damaged for a while

Given out in bits and pieces
 With empty promises never fulfilled
 Please, take whatever is left
Do with it what you will

 Caressing it gently
 Wanting only to heal
 Enthralled by it's mystery
 What will it reveal?

 Behind broken walls,
 lies her dislocated heart
What can come of her gift?
Whats been done with it thus far?

 Beaten and bruised,
 but it's yours to keep
Just take all of the pieces
 She can't handle more defeat

 You treat her well
 She deserves your respect
 A mess to the world
But in your eyes, she's very near perfect
