Favorite Quote:
Haters, like parrots, talk much but cannot fly. Dreamers, like eagles, say nothing but conquer the skies.
“It’s too risky,” said doubters. “It’s too difficult,” said scoffers. “It’s pointless,” said mockers. “It’s impossible,” said haters. “It’s already done,” said believers.”

Fifty stars and thirteen stripes,

The colors red, blue, and white,

On a pole my flag shall stand,

As proof to all this is my land,

America- Oh land so fair,

Thy glorious banner flies through the air,

America! Bring forth your light,

Let your stars light up the night.

The author's comments:

I have been writing poetry for over a decade now and enjoy writing about history, my beliefs, and nature especially.

This poem was written to inspire all Americans to be more patriotic for our country and appreciate the sacrifice that our soldiers make every day.

Thank you to all those who sacrifice their lives for our nation. You are truly a blessing.
