Despair
June 6, 2022
Talent shines through any despair
you told me as all my hope dimmed
Lifting your hand, you wiped my tears
"Things have to be better" you beamed

I wrote this using something someone told me while I was having a rough time. I used their words as it’s comforting and they wanted to make sure that I was going to be okay and that I knew that things would be getting better, that what happened doesn’t last forever. They wanted me to know that even through this pain that I’m talented and that my talents will help me push through the darkness.
