When life becomes too much,
Under the weight you feel crushed,
Take a few minutes, count to ten,
Take literary medicine.
Fantasy, fiction, or murder mystery,
Tell me young atlas, where do you wish to flee?
To the land of magical memories and wishes come true?
Or if you wish to play detective I’ll give you a clue!
Or would you rather read that to which you can relate?
Daily teenage struggles of boys and bad grades.
For if escape is what you seek then you alone hold the key,
Open up a book and I promise you’ll be free.
