Tragic Masterpiece
My body is my canvas
As I paint in fiery crimson
A collage of desolation
So that the scars on my body
Might match the scars on my mind
My heart is my easel
As I etch every wretched word
That has stained my being
So you might see that
there is truth behind my pain
My tears are my artistry
As they fall in tandem
With my slowing heart
So I might be free of the abyss
encapsulating my thoughts
I sign my farewell
In garnet calligraphy
My final wish
That you be free (of me) at last
