Dream Girl
To my deepest slumber I'll escape
Finding the girl who'd heal my aching heart
It takes the blinding sun to separate
Me from the dream girl of pure art
Her voice echoes through my waking hours
Her skin is softer than sunset clouds
The presence of fresh spring flowers
Beauty more radiant than the gods allowed
Every moment I have free, I spend in constant dreaming
Leaving my outside life in shambles
But I'd rather not leave my darling weeping
I'll let my being burn out like lit candles
