My favorite food is Sushi 

Raw fish, Seaweed, and eel sauce

To the average person, this is disgusting 

To me, I can eat Sushi-like Gorden Ramsey likes Beef Wellington

But I am not a critic like Mr.Ramsey

From the POP of the carrot in my mouth

To the fresh rice on the outside

The only reason I am in this class

Is to raise my GPA to help get a scholarship for college for baseball

But what I don’t know is

How to get the good grade

I work day and night to get the opportunity to get the A or even the B

I don’t know-how

I am still learning 

Trying to learn and accommodate what I need to do to get the A
I love baseball, baseball, and baseball

Baseball is what gets me up

Because without baseball I don’t get up

Without it, I feel lost and misplaced

I am a pariah outside of baseball

Every day I Don’t know what to say

When words release from my mouth half the time I don’t know what I’ve said

When I step on that field that is when I am myself

I am myself when I tie my cleats

When I put on my helmet

When I step in the batters box

I tap the plate with the end of my bat

I make a circle with my bat

I get into my stance with all confidence

Confidence that I am going to beat you

I wonder after every game

Did I get noticed

What have I done wrong 

What can I do better

I’m scared to death of roller coasters especially Mr.Freese

It’s icy cold, frozen walls, and cold dark mist in the air

I get in the front, my friend tricked me

I wake up and I am 70 feet in the air with the wind in my face and my unconscious hand slapping my friend across the face

People may think it’s not bad

But when I stare up at my 6’0, 6’2, and 6’3 teammates 

I wish I could be 5’9 and I would still be the shortest on my team

I hide it in humor

Just ask my coach

My coach and I make jokes about each other

We can trash talk each other all-day
