The grass is green
The sky is blue
People think I’m mean
But they don’t got a clue
Since I am a bull
They think I am rough
They only use me to pull
I am not rough I am tough
They use me for fun
They swing a red flag at me
Until I see none
I am never free
They use me to farm
I carry a giant metal thing
Why can’t they carry it with their arms
I wish I had wings
So I can just leave
And finally be free
And after I’m free
I will free others
Free them from their suffering
And then they can free others
And we will all be free
To roam as far as we want
And as much as we need
We are now free

This is a Persona poem that I wrote for a school assignment about the freedom of animals but more specifically a bull.
