Can you stand the rain?
It's pouring outside, it's pouring outside, can you stand the rain? The roses are covered in oceans of water, the violets are left beneath Every droplet yearns to sing a song of its own, each wanting a chance To leave a mark here on this land, a land where songs aren't sung Could my smile compare to the rainbow above, given birth by the tears of the sky? How it nurtures the roots to our souls, yet brings misery to the stem of our lives Yet it raises the meadows as its own, and leaves the weed behind not How it colours the future with no paint, but the final piece is heavenly It leaves me breathless yet healthy, I surely can stand the rain.
