Goddess Divine
At first glance, not even knowing your name
A swift but longing glance, left me speechless
Your gaze makes me less than tame
Goddess Divine you are why I am sleepless
It is true I am prideful
For you I would improve myself
Though you are spiteful
Goddess Divine you are why I am compelled
You may prefer the language of dance
I, my pearl, prefer the ink of my pen
Allow these words to leave your heart a trance
Goddess Divine you lower my defense
You, you are the one who had bewitched me
My body, my soul, both have been swayed
Parted from you I wish to never be
Goddess Divine with I you shall never be betrayed
The independence in your stride
For the moon envies every step
With you I hope to always confide
Goddess Divine all but you are a spec
Your eyes I could forever be lost in
Like stars which shine brightest in the sky
Your strength like the steady wind
Goddess Divine your beauty like a freshly trimmed bonsai
Scrupulous in your ways you are
A fool for believing rumors
But you could never leave a scar
Goddess Divine the only who know thy humor
I have no scruples confessing
My heart knows no bound
To me you are a secret blessing
Goddess Divine you are utmost profound
Lizzy for I love thee
You forever make me complete
Together I always feel free
Goddess Divine without you I feel obsolete
Mrs. Darcy you are my pride and joy
My sun to my moon
Every star unseen in the sky
Goddess Divine I wish to forever make you swoon

I wrote this poem after Reading Pride and Prejudice. The purpose of the poem was to be said from Mr.Darcy's point of view writing to Elizabeth Bennet(now Elizabeth Darcy). I hope readers will understand the little references from the book, such as the endearments Elizabeth allowed Darcy to call her. I do not write often but I enjoy it when I do.
