Tough times don't last. Tough people do.

I am the wind
Weightless and free,
I dance above the earth
Weaving between a group of chattering girls,
I tousle their product-laden locks
Whipping throughout the city,
I wrap myself around stop signs,
playfully jostle shopping bags,
and twirl scarves in my mischievous frenzy
I pass a confused, lost boy
then gently nudge him in the direction of his panic-stricken mother
I exit the city slowly,
reducing myself to only a light breeze
Weightless and free,
I dance above the earth
I am the wind

I love this. Thanks for commenting on "Winny" and sorry I took so long to get to you. Their age isn't important. It's part of the whimsy of it. Winny acts the youngest, but he could actually be older. Ren and Winny might even be the same age. Maybe their teenagers and maybe their elementary school kids, it doesn't matter. All that really matters is the adventure. Or maybe I don't know either and I'm trying to make it sound grand and wise. You never know.

Mickeyjo Ringmo,

THAT'S AMAZING MICKEY! It sounds like 'wintergirls', but like, better. You are an amazing writer, I'll buy your book the first day it comes out.
