Mi cultura es mi familia
Ni de aquí ni de allá mi cultura es mi familia
Every summer driving across the border
As I look forward memories flood my brain
The dirt roads with the art filled buildings
Driving to my grandparents house a house made with their own hands
A house that has stood tall for many of the past and hopefully the future
The heat and shakes of the earth don’t stand a chance
This house has held hopes, tears, joy and triumph
