The Adolescent Urge to Appear Admirable
Validation.
The only thing a young girl could want,
To be wanted
To be desired
To have worth.
Hours spent just for the smallest glance,
A slight sign of interest from another
A reason to give your life value
But at the end of the day,
The mirror screams of insecurity
And all self worth is gone
Only thing left to say
“Ill try harder tomorrow”
