The Beehive
The bees make up the vibrant, bustling home
Make up the rows and rows of honeycomb
The swarms of winged computers soar and buzz
The work as steady as a metronome.
The busy, buzzing, bustling conversations
The steady work that shows determination
The queen bee sitting high upon her throne
Communicates with scents and trace vibrations.
The queen, head of the hive of hexagons
Leads colonies, protects the eggs she spawns
There must be studies, research, contemplation
To understand this strange phenomenon.
The worker bees fly out to pollinate
The vibrant flowers that they circulate.
They quickly circumnavigate the lawn
Collecting nectar that they integrate.
Mysterious, fast machines of stripes and fuzz
Prompt many unanswered questions because
The scientists struggle to contemplate
The bees that whizz and swarm and soar and buzz
